Take part in one of the key summer peacebuilding trainings in Asia and the Pacific!  

The Mindanao Peacebuilding Institute (MPI) is now accepting applicants for its 16th Annual Peacebuilding Training from May 18 to June 5, 2015, at Mergrande Resort, Davao City, Philippines.

For 15 years now, MPI has successfully conducted its Annual Peacebuilding Training and has trained over 1,800 peacebuilders coming from more than 40 countries around the globe. It is a resource for peacebuilders: providing skills, conducting research, and building solidarity in the Asia-Pacific region.

Now is your chance to be part of our growing network. Join us for our 16th annual peacebuilding training with the theme Peacebuilders Lighting the Way towards Justpeace and Reconciliation.

Share, learn, and enhance your knowledge and skills in courses that explore major themes and cutting-edge debates in areas such as conflict transformation, peace education, religious peacebuilding, and trauma healing. These intensive courses are taught by a distinguished roster of facilitators from Asia-Pacific and other countries. You may choose to enroll for one, two or three weeks.

For MPI 2015, we are offering three new courses:

  • A Force More Powerful: Theory and Practice of Nonviolence – Level II;
  • Community-Based Restorative Justice; and
  • Interreligious Dialogue and Peacebuilding: Frameworks and Applications.
  • What’s more, an Early-Bird discount of US$50 or PhP2,100 will be applied to those who submit their applications on or before March 6, 2015! The deadline for the receipt of applications is March 31, 2015.
