Accelerate2030 supports your venture to scale internationally

Accelerate2030 is a 9-month acceleration programme for up to 10 high-potential ventures enabling you to becoming more investment-ready, and measure your impact in order to scale internationally. We don’t put you through a standard programme of workshop and courses, but we build a program based on your specific needs. In addition, you will get access to the Impact Hub global network of 80+ collaborative spaces with over 15,000 social innovators that will support you globally, and receive complementary membership to your local Impact Hub participating in A2030.

    Tailored support provided by experts

We will guide you through the process of assessing your scaling goals and needs and devise a 9-months support plan to achieve your targets. Support will be delivered on topics as diverse as business models for scaling, intellectual property, global supply chain management, international standards and certifications, international marketing, impact measurement – together with partners including BCG, Dalberg, UNDP, ITC, Codethic, WIPO, Sidley, Endeva and others!

    Access to strategic partnerships

A2030 works with many UN organisations, consultants, investors, and corporations with offices in Geneva and all around the world. During our Scaling Bootcamp in Switzerland, we will connect you to this network and will organise one-to-one meetings based on finalists’ specific needs, so that together  we can explore the best way to support them in their scaling efforts.

    Access to finance for growth

We will support you in setting up the financing strategy and raise the finance you need to grow. We will do so by connecting you to a vibrant community of impact investors and sustainable finance institutions, matchmaking you with appropriate investors and support you in closing transactions.

    Global Visibility

Throughout the programme we will provide you with local and global visibility and media exposure. You will also be invited to participate and pitch at the Social Good Summit in Geneva in October 2017 and network with global leaders working on the Sustainable Development Goals.

    Programme Schedule

    Diagnostics

    July-September 2017

Once the international finalists are selected, the Accelerate2030 team and our partners will be in close contact with each of them. Every venture’s scaling goals and needs are different, so we will thoroughly analyse them and mutually agree on areas of business where support is needed. Based on this process, we’ll compile a Scaling Support Plan for each finalist, outlining how we will work together in the coming months.

    Bootcamp and Social Good Summit

Early October 2017 in Geneva, Switzerland

In October 2017, finalists will be invited for about a week to Switzerland for the Scaling Bootcamp, consisting of closed sessions and public events organised for them. Based on the needs articulated in the previous step, we will organise one-to-one meetings with identified strategic contacts from:

    • International Organisations
    • Investment Funds
    • Consulting Companies
    • Corporations
    • Other Accelerate2030 Partners

The bootcamp will culminate with the Social Good Summit Geneva (SGS Geneva), a one-day, invite-only event organised by the UNDP. Ventures will be invited to present their activities, impact, and scaling plans, and network with a hand-picked audience. See pictures from the SGS Geneva 2016. Learn More about the SGS Geneva 2017.

    Tailored Scaling Support Programme

    October – June 2018

Based on the discussion and agreements during the Diagnostics phase and the Scaling Bootcamp, finalists will continue working closely with the selected partners on achieving the scaling targets outlined in their Scaling Support Plans. As needed, ventures will receive advice and consultancy in the areas of:

    • Business models for expansion to new markets
    • Leadership and governance
    • Legal strategy
    • International standards consulting
    • Industry-specific technical expertise
    • Technology access
    • Business operations
    • Partner search and match-making
    • Financing strategy and funding
    • Impact measurement
    • B-Corp implementation
    • and more

The Accelerate2030 team will be available to facilitate the partnerships, access to networks, contact, and will guide ventures towards the achievement of their scaling goals.
