This two-part video is the first in the Peace and Collaborative Development Network’s interview series with leading practitioners and scholars from around the world.

Peace and Collaborative Development Network is one of the leading social networks for peacebuilding, development, humanitarian relief, social entrepreneurship and related fields, with over 23,000 individuals and organizations as members. For more information on PCDN, visit http://www.internationalpeaceandconflict.org

PCDN founder Dr. Craig Zelizer was honored to interview the noted musician and peace activist Emmanuel Jal (http://emmanueljal.com), who came to Washington, DC to receive the prestigious Common Ground Award. These awards are presented annually by Search for Common Ground (http://www.sfcg.org) to honor outstanding accomplishments in conflict resolution, negotiation, community building, and peacebuilding.

Part 2 of the interview includes questions from PCDN members, whose input was invaluable.

Special thanks to Tania Campbell-Golding and Susan Koscis for their assistance in making this video come to life.
