Shelly Galvin is the Corporate Social Responsibility Director at Tech Education firm, CBT Nuggets, and is currently relaunching the corporation's NuggetLove program. NuggetLove is the charitable arm of CBT Nuggets. NuggetLove is rooted in connecting changemakers with resources to optimize impact and create sustainable solutions in the world. We have a vision for a better life for everyone. Our mission is to serve the basic needs of people everywhere in a way that ensures long-term self reliance. We invest in empowerment, in sustainable personal responsibility, and in opportunities for continual personal growth. We believe that if we share capacity to develop sustainability and transcend the need for assistance, we build communities that are not only sustainable, but regenerative.

Our new philanthropic program has three tiers wherein we invite organizations to engage with us via an inclusive RFP process, then:
1. We select up to four organizations per year with innovative, leading edge programs, they could be local, regional, national, or global, and we donate 1% of our total revenue in the form of targeted grants to support their mission.
2. We help to build capacity to scale and be successful by supporting our four partner organizations with an in-kind "super temp" to help strategize around fundraising, leadership and organizational development, and general capacity development to address needs and grow to scale impact.
3. In addition, once an organization completes our of RFP process, they are invited to connect with other rock star changemakers around the globe as part of an open sourced community of practice to share and grow our ability to make the change.

Shelly Galvin is passionate about social entrepreneurialism and holds a Diploma in Social Innovation from the Centre for Executive Education at the UN mandated University for Peace (UPEACE), in San Jose, Costa Rica. Shelly is eager to learn and to share. We are better, together.
