KAKRABA EMMANUEL is the Founder and CEO of Kra Integrated Solutions Ltd (Krinsol Ecotours), a Ghana based Tourism, Travel and Hospitality, Events Management and Organizing, Career, Professional and Corporate Development Social Enterprise (SE). Earlier, his passions and desire for higher academic laurels necessitated traveling to Austria where he pursued and successfully completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, majoring in Innovation and Management in Tourism at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, Salzburg, Austria. He crowned the studies with a research into Rural Ecotourism Development as part and in fulfillment of his Bachelor degree study program. Whilst pursuing his undergraduate degree in Austria, he worked at the Jufa Family and Youth Hotel and G4S International in the position of Guest Service Associate and Security Officer respectively in Salzburg. To be able to utilize the knowledge, skills and experience acquired, practically demonstrate his passions and commitments to social entrepreneurship, sustainable economic, social and humanitarian development, he established Kra Integrated Solutions Ltd (Krinsol Ecotours), upon return home to Ghana, believing that it will provide the leverage for him to be more impactful, useful and relevant to society. His primary responsibilities as the Founder and CEO of the company include the following; Provision of innovative, high leverage and applicable vision, objectives, goals and leadership, Spearheads negotiations for collaborations, partnerships and networking, Head of events and programs conceptualization, development and staging, Coordinates the formulation, implementation and management of all functional administrative policies, regulations, guidelines and processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Others are Steering of products and projects research, conceptualization, development and implementation, Oversees external relations with third party companies, institutions and organizations, Supervise and coordinate team activities to achieve set goals, objectives and targets, Liaise with civil, public and private sector institutions, policy and decisions makers and other stakeholders. Prior to all of the aforementioned, for over ten years (10), he had an excellent hands-on career experience working as an Immigration Officer with the Ghana Immigration Service at various entry and exit points within Ghana. These included the Kotoka International Airport, Namootanga and Aflao Border Posts. He proved to be a highly proactive, self-motivated, reliable and approachable team member until he decided to leave to pursue higher academic laurels. This gave him the unique opportunity to meet, interact and deal extensively with all manner of people, from all over the world, with diverse backgrounds and at all levels of society. Among such array of individuals and/or groups were government officials, civil, corporate, public and private sector leaders, policy, decision makers and employees, international diplomats, foreign service personnel, expatriates and public influencers as well as those who visited Ghana for business, tourism and other purposes. They also included some of the very poor, needy, marginalized and vulnerable populations such as victims of undocumented, irregular and forced migration (human trafficking and migrants smuggling victims), refugees and displaced persons fleeing from conflicts within neighboring countries. KAKRABA’s professional and personal skills, knowledge, competences and experience include but not limited to team motivation, management and coordination, leadership and management, analytical and intellectual thinking and decision making, conceptualization and writing, security, safety and intelligence operations, teamwork and multitasking. It also includes social, intercultural relations and diversity management dynamics, customer courtesies and relations management, interpersonal and persuasive communication. Others are public engagement, social and humanitarian emergency response actions. Before his arrival in Austria, he registered and upon arrival, fully participated in a course on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Austrian Armed Forces International Peacekeeping Training Centre organized by the Austrian Ministry of Defence and Education. Additionally, besides living and studying in Austria, he also has to his credit, extensive travel exposure which illuminates travels to the United States of America, United Kingdom, Germany and Sweden all in pursuit of international conferences, training and capacity building programs as part of his strategic career and professional development goals and objectives. These include International Tourism Exchange (ITB), Berlin, Germany, International Crisis Management (Swedish National Defence College, Stockholm, Sweden). Others are Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy in the USA, “US Cultural Diplomacy: The Use of the Arts in Promoting Dialogue, Fostering Peace, and Initiating Mutual Understanding amongst World Cultures and Civilizations,” (Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, New York and Washington DC, United States of America) and Art as Cultural Diplomacy: A Forum for Young Leaders (ACD) (Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, London, United Kingdom). He also attended the UNWTO Regional Conference on Enhancing Brand Africa: Fostering Tourism Development, Accra, Ghana. KAKRABA is extremely people or human centric with absolute believes and convictions in the benevolence age-old Ghanaian social, cultural, humanitarian and economic development practices of community sharing and inter-dependencies, which serves as a valuable and reliable social, cultural, humanitarian and economic safety nets for the needy, poor and vulnerable persons, especially children within various communities. He has strong passions and commitments for critical issues including but not limited to undocumented, irregular and forced migration (human trafficking and migrants smuggling), international relations and diplomacy, corruption, accountability, transparency, rule of law, human and minority rights, sustainable pro-poor, vulnerable, needy and marginalized development, social and humanitarian emergency response, natural resources and environmental protection. These were developed and nurtured out of the real-life experiences encountered whilst he was growing-up, living, studying and/or working as an Immigration Officer within deprived communities. Combination of the aforementioned characteristics, passions, commitments, work, studies and travel experiences provided the leverage, basis and motivation for his decision to establish Kra Integrated Solutions Ltd (Krinsol Ecotours) with concretes foundations in the principles and concepts of Social Entrepreneurship (SE). An ample demonstration of his strong believes that, this business model present tremendous potentials for young entrepreneurs to influence a radical and fundamental grassroots sustainable social, humanitarian and economic development paradigm shift towards businesses imbibing compassion for the needy, poor, underprivileged, marginalized and vulnerable persons in society, and also environmental and natural resources protection, sustainability and responsibility at the core of their social, business and/or economic activities. Naturally, KAKRABA has a passionate and never compromising attitude towards what he considers as the six (6) elements of personal and interpersonal efficiency, effectiveness and success (communication, confidence, integrity, hard work, passion and teamwork), which he has developed, nurtured and constantly and consistently exhibited in all career, professional and academic studies environments.
